BACALAR
Bacalar, located in the south of Quintana Roo near Belize, has been a Pueblo Mágico since 2006. It is famous for its immense freshwater lake with turquoise waters, colored by its limestone bottom and its connections with underground rivers and open-air cenotes.

A public pier located in the center is available to spread out your towel and swim.

WHAT ARE STROMATOLITES?
These formations are the oldest form of life on the planet! They produce very large quantities of oxygen, which helps purify the lake.
They are also very fragile, which is why they are protected and we cannot walk next to them.
